Lack of Sexual Desire

Sexual aversion (sexual coldness) is a medical problem that can occur in both women and men, hindering individuals from maintaining a healthy sexual life. Common symptoms in individuals experiencing this issue include a decrease in the desire to engage in sexual intercourse, a lack of any sexual desire, a reduction or absence of sexual activity. This problem is more commonly encountered in women, and stress is considered to be its major trigger. It can arise as a result of psychological, cultural, social, and medical conditions.

Factors such as aging in women, pregnancy, and menopause create a groundwork for sexual aversion. Menopause, in particular, is observed to increase sexual aversion. In men, the symptoms often include a decrease in libido, inability to derive pleasure from intercourse, and a lack of motivation, primarily associated with aging.

The diagnosis and treatment of this issue should involve a detailed assessment for both women and men, with the appropriate treatment plan determined afterward. Laser vaginal tightening and hormonal treatments are prominent in the treatment. Psychotherapy and homeopathic applications also provide significant benefits.
