Laser Treatment for Urinary Incontinence

The solution for urinary incontinence, a problem commonly observed in women over the age of 40 and indicative of loss of control over the bladder, includes laser therapy. The primary causes of urinary incontinence in women may include difficult childbirth, decreased estrogen levels with the onset of menopause, urinary tract infections, sagging of the genital organs, weakening of pelvic muscles, excess weight, genetic predisposition, certain neurological disorders, diabetes, and smoking. Consequently, urinary incontinence is triggered by the loosening of connective tissue.

Urinary incontinence often occurs during activities that increase intra-abdominal pressure, such as coughing, laughing, sneezing, lifting heavy objects, climbing stairs, or straining. The frequency of these situations in social life highlights the distressing nature of urinary incontinence within society. In some cases, women may delay seeking treatment for urinary incontinence due to hesitations in discussing the issue.

Laser therapy for urinary incontinence consists of four sessions, each lasting approximately 30 minutes.
